Below is a list of food processing terms and descriptions. A Yes, No, or Some indicates Glen Industries' capability of the food processing process.
Baking - No
Bread, rolls, pastries, pies, cookies, etc. wholesale or retail in-store bakery operations, including bake-off operations
Blending - Yes
Spices, herbs, seasonings at retail or wholesale
Bottling - Yes
A production line that places hot and/or cold foods into containers. For example, fruit juices, sauces, and condiments.
Catering - No
Providing food service to a remote site, such as a hotel or meeting place.
Cooking or Heat Treatment - Yes
The processing of foods by heat to destroy or partially or totally inhibit enzymes and microorganisms, whose presence or proliferation could alter the food in question or make it unfit for human consumption.
